Super Moist Chocolate Banana Cake

This is a all-time favourite from my family and friends. 

Another order from my maple boss, Derek.

This cake has to order 1 week in advance as I have to get the right banana until it's super ripe.

 

Super Moist Chocolate Chips Banana Bread / Cake

Super Moist Chocolate chips banana bread. Recipe says bread, but texture is like cake to me. 

Chocolate chip here is very important i feel. I want those after baking it stays in shape but when you bite it, it is melty feel. I'm using Nestle brand here. 

This is the kind of texture i like. =)

Minion Chiffon Cake

Made a Minion Theme Birthday Party for my son. The cake took me 3 days to bake! I started with the lower tier, which is 23cm (9") it was really tough to do naked look - (no browning by the sides). Then followed by the upper tier, which is 7" (17~18cm). The final day was doing the chiffon sheet, cutting and assembling them together. Because this cake was too tall to be in normal cake box, i put it in a super tall box and cling wrapped up tightly. And because the box was too tall to fit into my fridge (with all the party stuff), the minion had a chance to sleep in my aircon room. LOL!

simple wang wang biscuit with minion eyes (bought a week in advance, stick the eyes and placed it in air tight container - in case the biscuit turn soft)

Butter Cake

My girl has been bugging me to bake rainbow chiffon cake. I told her i need to spend time coaching her on piano, didi on writing and preparing dinner... Maybe weekend then can squeeze out time, but no promise. Hence, i made butter cake.. since it's quite hassle free. hehe..

Blossom (Happy Birthday to Faith)

Hubby and I decided to name this cake Blossom.

Very happy to bake for a close friend's daughter, Faith, for her first birthday.

Soccer Ball Chiffon

The base is Pandan Chiffon: 18cm Tube Pan. Hemisphere Ball using a glass bowl, and then black, white and red chiffon sheets for the patch work. Was hunting high and low for a hexagon cutter.. haha! thanks to hubby who brought me to the bukit batok industrial area which sells lots of kitchenware stuff.

Remember i bake this Car cake some time ago? It was for my second BIL (dressed in black), he told me he had finished the whole cake by himself. Comment: very tasty, light.

Marble Butter Cake

Very eventful weekend with Jays.
Woke up at 8am to prepare everything from washing to laundry to sweeping to mopping to boiling water etc. It feels great to do so many things early morning. =) Shortly, i made milk for Jays then gave them bread, we then headed out for movie! It's their second time watching a movie. (I was feeling a little sad when i went to exchange the movie voucher to ticket,.. 6months ago's today i met my late dad the last time even chatted with him though he was abit unwell... he then  passed away on 30 March 2016 in the hospital. That time was Jays first time watching movie - Kungfu Pandan 3)

Anyway, we watched "The Secret Life of Pets"

it was a morning 10.20am show. i'm glad Jays enjoyed =)

we headed to town to walk walk shop shop till about 3pm..

as promised, bread making session for Jays. (I enjoyed myself totally as much as Jays do! not forgetting hubby) 

Erm, those rounder shapes were done by myself.. hahah! The weird shapes were done by Jays. hehehe

Dinner by 7.30pm, i'm so happy that we are having more home cooked food. I feel healthier and in fact i lost abit of weight even without exercising. We bought this hot plate from Metro at $13 only! I know my late dad always wanted one, i will get one for mum to try. It was my first try in making hot plate tofu. I still got to work on how to deep dry the damn tofu.. hahaha.. The above hot plate tofu is far cry from my parents'... I will work on it again, anything for Jays..

while were were having dinner, something was baking in the oven.. Yes, you heard me,.. I simply love multitasking. I'm one person who doesn't like to waste time. =p (of cuz there are times when i am super tired and feel lazy =X)
