Sliced Batang Fish, Thick Bee Hoon Soup

This round i cooked without measurement. Bought Batang from the wet market, asked uncle to slice it for me. Hmm below are the ingredients needed. A very cheap and simple one pot meal that can feed up to 6 pax. 

600g Thick Bee Hoon appx $1

Batang $10

Xiao Bai Chye handful $0.40

Tomatoes 

Ginger $0.30

Minced garlic 

Some butter

1.2 Litre Chicken Stock

Fish Sauce

Hua Tiao wine

Claypot Chicken Rice + Xiao Bai Chye

hubby tried using the rice cooker with "claypot" function this round, it gives the similar feel of cooking by claypot over fire. There's some crispiness in the rice.

This CNY we received lots of pacific clams, razor clams, abalones, so might as well use in our daily cooking. hehe
