Fried Fish Thick Bee Hoon Soup



It is very rare for me to fry, moreover this is deep frying.
After doing this, i realised deep frying is not as scary as pan frying.
Anyway, i'm still afraid of the oil splattering sound.

Sliced Fish Thick Bee Hoon Soup


Because hubby has night lecture tonight, hence one pot meal save the day!
Fish bought from Chinatown Market with mum. So fresh and good. After buying this Sheng Yu, i dun buy batang for this dish anymore. hehe..

Sliced Batang Fish, Thick Bee Hoon Soup


This round i cooked without measurement. Bought Batang from the wet market, asked uncle to slice it for me. Hmm below are the ingredients needed. A very cheap and simple one pot meal that can feed up to 6 pax. 



600g Thick Bee Hoon appx $1
Batang $10
Xiao Bai Chye handful $0.40
Tomatoes 
Ginger $0.30
Minced garlic 
Some butter
1.2 Litre Chicken Stock
Fish Sauce
Hua Tiao wine

Sliced Fish Thick Bee Hoon Soup


Ingredients:
Sliced fish (i like batang)
thick noodle
bak choy
butter
garlic
ginger
chicken stock
fish sauce
shaoxing wine
evaporated milk
