Butter Cake

My girl has been bugging me to bake rainbow chiffon cake. I told her i need to spend time coaching her on piano, didi on writing and preparing dinner... Maybe weekend then can squeeze out time, but no promise. Hence, i made butter cake.. since it's quite hassle free. hehe..

Blossom (Happy Birthday to Faith)

Hubby and I decided to name this cake Blossom.

Very happy to bake for a close friend's daughter, Faith, for her first birthday.

There's hidden surprise in the middle =) 

Flora marshmallow to coincide with the theme.

Shopkins Chiffon - Natalie

A cake specially made for a sweet little girl, Natalie. she's my girl's best friend. =)

Sorry for the bad unmoulding, still trying to improve. Anyhow, i love the first trial of upside down drip. This cake has two flavours, only the pink in colour is strawberry flavour and the rest are vanilla flavour.

17cm Valrhona Chocolate Base

White: Vanilla

Pink and Dark Pink: Strawberry

Green: Pandan 

The uniqueness of this cake is soft, moist, no added colour gel (each colour based on each flavour). The best thing is, whole cake is made of chiffon and it's healthier choice! 

A very close friend of mine ordered this Blossom Chiffon Cake from me. Previously she requested something pinkish / rainbow for her birthday last month. So i made a Pink Ombre with Rainbow Chiffon.
