Football Chiffon for Weijian

It turned out nice and very very fudgy.

Rice Cooker "Claypot Rice"

My version of "claypot rice"

I chance upon this Cantonese Claypot Rice paste at NTUC: 
Amount of rice: approximately 3-4cups of rice 

1 pack of taiwan sausage (i couldn't find the cocktail, hence used the long ones and cut) 

Soak an estimated chinese mushroom and sliced

For the chicken i used Frangosul Mid wing because it was non bloody and unlike other brands' wings all stuck together. Marinate overnight with oyster sauce, sesame oil, hua diao jiu with a little dark sauce for "colouring" and some corn flour for smooth feel.





Cooking method:
Air Fry wings and sausage at 180 deg C for about 15-20mins
Pour in claypot seasoning with all ingredients, stir well and cook in rice cooker.

Christmas Bakes

A simple dessert bakes for Tan Residence's 2016 Christmas Party.

Valrhona Fudgy Brownie
Adapted from Zoe's Best Brownie.

The legendary Mrs Ng SK Butter Cake.
Second try with my gold anodised 8" x 8" square pan with removable base. Not very happy with the result, still a layer at the bottom that looks more damp. Taste wise is ok.. Will try again.

Read up on different kinds of cheesecakes.
And hurray, after so many thousands bakes i finally got a smooth un-cracked top. 
Different oven act differently i must say. Like for my Mayer Oven, the above JCC i have to put at the bottomest rack means directly on the base to bake. After the 18 mins of 200 deg C, 12 mins of 160 deg C, 20mins in enclosed oven, 20mins with door of oven opened slightly to get the crackless JCC. Well, this way works for my oven. i tried following Dr Leslie's method exactly but somehow all 4 of the JCC CRACKS horribly. thank goodness JCC needs to "age" in fridge to taste better and while aging in the fridge, it shrank and "close" up the cracks.. LOL.. my cheat way..

Pandan Chiffon

Last order of today: Two Pandan Chiffon in 18cm.
I was up since 6.30am baking Japanese Cheesecake, followed by Brownie and this Pandan Chiffons. Had to finish by 12noon as we had family graduation photoshoot at Serangoon Broadway.
As usual, i'm a sucker for photo, ordered one 35" and 14" (i think, can't remember} to hang at home. Can't wait for the photo selection.
